After a 3 hour walk we dropped into the canyon to find a couple of good size jumps up to 14m a sweet slide and plenty of big juicy back to back rappels finishing with a 60m giant.

After a scramble down to the Burke river we thought we were home and hosed before we hit an impassable grade 5 rapid gorged in and had to climb out. We abseiled back in to a lovely float out to the road, 12 hours after leaving the car!
