Private land – permission required.

Scott Creek is entirely on private land (See Herenga ā Nuku Outdoor Access Map)

For many years, this canyon was run commercially by Canyoning Queenstown (now Canyon Explorers).

However, there have been some access issues, and the situation is currently sensitive. The NZ Canyoning Association is attempting to find a solution with the land owner. But for now, the NZCA requests that canyoners find alternative trips and do not descend Scott Creek.
