Great fun. Quite a few fallen trees, no issue at low flow but could be troublesome at higher flows. After the canyon instead of bushbashing back to the trailhead it’s about a 25 minute easy walk downstream to the confluence with rahu left canyon if you’re going for a double outing (and you should!).
Great to get back into my favorite North Canterbury canyon. We added a bolt on the second pitch so the whole thing is double bolted and all the Jumps are still good! Awesome day out and well worth the effort!!
